The Bishop of Gloucester seeks to appoint a collaborative and inspirational priest to this welcoming and outward looking benefice that enjoys a range of worship styles, cares deeply for the community, and would like to grow both spiritually and numerically. The person appointed will:
- Enjoy being part of the local community, having the gifts of a pastoral evangelist
- Have a lively and engaging faith, able to communicate with people of all ages and stages of life and discipleship and be a thought-provoking preacher
- Be committed to partnership with the C of E primary school and relish the opportunities for mission and service in the school community
- Be a visionary leader of theological and spiritual depth, encouraging and developing the gifts of all and building relationships and planning across the local mission partnership.
There is an associate priest, a reader and local retired clergy who work together with lay leaders to share in mission and ministry in these prayerful and thankful worshipping communities.
