The Rt Revd Rachel Treweek, Bishop of Gloucester, seeks to appoint a collaborative parish priest, committed to reaching out with the good news of the gospel to all ages, to serve as part of the North Cheltenham Team Ministry. The Team includes 5 churches, working across a wide diversity of contexts (rural to UPA) and ranging in tradition from traditional catholic to broad centre, and is in the process of redefining its vision and focus under the leadership of the relatively new Team Rector.

As well as the Team Rector the successful candidate will join us alongside another very new Team Vicar who is yet to take up his post. As well as the stipendiary clergy team there is more established support from a Team Deacon, Readers, a Team Administrator, many retired clergy and committed lay leaders and ministers. The post is open to women and men on an equal basis.

Cheltenham is served by excellent schools and a University, first class amenities and with beautiful countryside on its doorstep.

For an informal discussion about the role contact the Archdeacon of Cheltenham,

the Ven Phil Andrew on 01452 835594 or 07498 052045

or the Team Rector, the Revd Nick Bromfield on 01242 232883
