Children: up to 11
The Diocesan Children's Office enables, supports and resources any work being done by and in local churches with those aged 0 to 11 years by:- Training people who work with children in the church
- Producing and recommending resources
- Encouraging children on their faith journey , including Children and Communion, baptism contacts and follow up, regular and one-off activities
- Being a voice for children and raising awareness of them
- Developing, understanding and practice of all-age worship
- Fostering theological intelligence about children and church
- Encouraging good practice within legal frameworks
- Being a point of reference for all issues relating to children and church
So if you are concerned about children and church, if you help on Sundays or mid-week,
Whoever you are, young or old, we'd like to hear from you and help all God's people, young and old, to grow in faith together.
