You are invited to our Commonwealth Meal at Trinity Cheltenham on Tuesday 17 April at 6pm.
Commonwealth Big Lunches bring people together to celebrate community and friendship with neighbours. You can see more about the initiative here. The event is partnering with the Food Impact Project, so some of the food will be supermarket surplus.
A team of volunteers (including a professional chef) will be cooking up a meal of chicken stew with rice, potatoes and vegetables, with a dessert of fruit.
They will also share stories and video of their recent visit to the Diocese of Gloucester’s partner Diocese of Western Tanganyika in Tanzania. A group from All Saints school will also share stories from their trip last summer.
