Organise a community event
FestivALL is about celebrating local communities. So we are inviting community groups and statutory organisations, in and around Gloucestershire, to organise events, big or small, which bring people together.
Events on offer can be something already planned in your 2018 calendar that fits the FestivALL ethos, using the branding and publicity to give it some extra energy. It can be a small event, like a community picnic, or a coffee morning, taking minimal resources. Or something as big as a community fete, where several organisations come together to contribute time and finances to reach as many people as possible.
The only thing we ask is that at every event, everybody is made to feel welcome.
The more organisations and community groups that are involved, in and around Gloucestershire, the better.
Over 40 organisations have already expressed an interest in being involved.
The sponsors of FestivALL will support the month long calendar of events and activities by; co-coordinating the launch events in Gloucester Cathedral (see – find an event near me) FestivALL communications, including updating this website with the latest news and events, producing promotional material and managing press and social media.
We are also facilitating networking events leading up to the start of FestivALL.
For those wanting to be involved we have organised networking opportunities, where people can hear more about the FestivALL vision, meet other people, share ideas and strike up collaborations. The next ones taking place are –
Friday 9th February 1-3pm @ Barnwood Trust, Ullenwood Manor Farm, Cheltenham GL53 9QT
Saturday 24th February 11am @ St Mary de Lode Church, Gloucester City Center, organised by Simon Culley of Inclusion Church
If anyone else would like to host one of the monthly gatherings between now and May/June (and beyond) please also come forward.
