Giving Officer, Trusts & Legacies
The Diocese has appointed a new Giving Officer, Helen Liley.Unlike a traditional Stewardship Officer Helen's role is to support the local vision of stewardship with the tools and skills used in the wider charitable sector. Through this approach she will help all PCCs develop their giving levels.
Over the next eighteen months Helen will be working on a diocesan wide regular giving scheme based on central direct debit and gift aid systems to support parishes both reduce administration and increase giving. This will be a 'free' service with all such donations and gift aid remitted back to the parishes.
Helen will also be developing a network of fundraising volunteers across the diocese. If you or anyone you know would be interested in helping with this please contact her using the details below.
We are also working to implement a diocesan wide legacy support network over a similar timescale.
