Diocesan Missioner

Christian discipleship has its origins in the mission of God who sent his Son, and who sends his Spirit, that we in turn might be called, equipped and sent to serve and proclaim God's kingdom in the world.

The Anglican Communion's five marks of mission summarise this as a call to:
  • proclaim the good news of the kingdom
  • teach, nurture and baptize new believers
  • respond to human need by loving service
  • seek to transform unjust structures of society
  • strive to safeguard the integrity of creation and sustain and renew the earth
In collaboration with other colleagues, the work of the Diocesan Missioner, the Revd Andrew Braddock, is to enable and sustain a commitment to mission and evangelism across the life of the diocese. Please browse through the options on this page to find out what sort of support is available.
