Mark's Family
This resource features Mark, a Year 6 boy from a Christian family living in South West England. Using photographs of different aspects of his family life, taken over a 12-month period Mark explains the customs, beliefs and values that are special to him.
The PowerPoint presentation comprises five parts: Together as a family, Together as a Church, Worshipping Together, Celebrating Together, Values Shared Together. It is self-explanatory and includes suggested tasks devised to help pupils explore the material, develop appropriate skills and reflect on issues raised.

Experience Festivals series
An exciting way for churches to share the festival stories with children
This is an imaginative approach to help children experience the Christian festivals through the year using, on each occasion, six easy to assemble, interactive stations set up in different parts of the church.
In the series are Experience Easter, Experience Christmas, Experience Pentecost and Experience Harvest, each priced at £11.00.d
Classes from the local primary school will be invited by the clergy to visit the church where in small groups they will be guided by a leader from the school around each station. Using a similar format to Pause for Reflection, with which schools are already familiar, the pack gives detailed instructions to church members to enable them to create the stations. Also included are careful instructions to help the school group leaders introduce and reflect on each part of the story.
The ideas offer a superb opportunity to strengthen church-school links.

Resourcing Festivals series
All-age worship and activity materials to provide a link between the suggestions in the various 'Experience Festivals' packs and regular church worship. Priced at just £5.00 per pack, service ideas can be adapted for use in Eucharistic and non-Eucharistic services. Resourcing Easter gives worship ideas for Lent, Mothering Sunday, Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday and Easter Sunday; Resourcing Christmas for Sundays in Advent, Crib services, Christmas Day & Epiphany; Resourcing Summer for Sundays in August and for start of new school year. All packs also include an outline for an activity morning.
Resourcing November suggests worship ideas for All Souls and All Saints Days, Remembrance Sunday, Christ the King Sunday, Advent Sunday and St Nicholas Day. It also includes workshop ideas for Halloween and Advent.

Prayers for Life in a Church Primary School

Living Valuesd
Living Values is the latest title published by Jumping Fish ®. It has been especially written by Shahne Vickery, Primary Schools Adviser to the Diocese of Gloucester, to complement the popular Values for Life resource which takes eighteen Christian values as themes for a three-year rolling programme for collective worship.

Living Values supports the strong values education focus that is now part of the SIAS process. It also shows how values can underpin every aspect of school life, including: policy development; the whole curriculum; the work of the governing body; and spiritual development.
