Fresh Expressions
'changing church for a changing world'
Fresh Expressions in Gloucester Diocese
Here in Gloucester diocese our Pioneer Minister is
Michael Volland.
"I've been commissioned to plant a 'fresh expression' of church in Gloucester city centre. This particular fresh expression, (or being church where people are, in ways people can relate to) won't save the Church of England but it might allow light, life and hope to infiltrate into surprising places... Your ongoing prayers are invited and appreciated."

Fresh Expressions at a National Level
Fresh Expressions is a Church of England and Methodist Church initiative. Fresh Expressions aims to work ecumenically and collaboratively wherever possible.
Fresh Expressions want to work with and be trusted by every different tradition within the Church of England and the Methodist Church.
Fresh Expressions encourages people to establish fresh expressions of church - churches that are relevant to their context and culture. Fresh Expressions aims to be rooted and grounded in prayer and to focus on four key areas:
1. renewing vision
2. gathering news
3. supporting growth
4. developing training
Fresh Expressions are working in partnership with the national and regional mission staff of the Church of England and the Methodist Church and a range of partner agencies.
