Diocesan Environmental Adviser

Arthur ChampionThe Revd Arthur Champion is the Environmental Adviser for the Diocese of Gloucester. Arthur has had a lifelong commitment to caring for the environment.

His experience includes pioneering a church-based waste recycling project in partnership with Friends of the Earth and acting as UK environmental adviser for a multinational business.

Arthur advises the Bishop’s senior staff team on environmental policy and strategic issues, helps churches to set targets, monitor and report on progress and provides support. He preaches, teaches and facilitates small group meetings as well as gathering and sharing best practice case studies.
