Assistant Chaplain – University of Gloucestershire

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our strong Chaplaincy Team and to take forward the work of the Chaplaincy at the growing Oxstalls Campus in Gloucester, based in a new Faith Space.

The post is for 22.5 hours per week and carries a salary equivalent to 0.6 of between £23,557 – £25,728 (pro rata) depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate with experience of working within a faith setting, ideally with either students or young adults. The role includes liaison with the Diocese of Gloucester (who assist with funding) and a commitment to working positively with those from other faith traditions.

The ideal candidate will have very good people skills, be keen to work pastorally with students, have a passion for community involvement and a show strong commitment to the Christian faith.

This year-round post lies within Student Services and is for an initial three year period.
