‘Building Resilience’ Conference, Emmanuel Centre, London, Wednesday 27 June 2018

There are still tickets available for the National Churches Trust’s Building Resilience Conference. Taking place at the Emmanuel Centre in central London, this is a major event for anyone who loves, looks after or supports church buildings.

With dedicated themed session covering tourism, maintenance and grant funding, and featuring participants from the government, media, tourism, heritage, insurance and funding sectors, Building Resilience will be an opportunity to gain new ideas and inspiration in caring for places of worship and sustaining them for the future.

The Rt Hon Dame Caroline Spelman MP, Church Estates Commissioner, will be giving the keynote address.

Speakers also include Bill Bryson, author and presenter; Bernard Donoghue, Director, Association of Leading Visitor Attractions; Ros Kerslake, Chief Executive, Heritage Lottery Fund and the National Memorial Heritage Fund; award winning architects, Suzi Pendlebury and Oliver Caroe, award winning broadcaster, Dr Jonathan Foyle; and John Goodall, Architectural Editor, “Country Life”.
