This workshop, led by Charles Hippsley (Work Forum Director at LICC), looks to tackle the specific challenges and opportunities of living out faith in the workplace, helping people to become more aware of God in their work, more confident that their faith is an asset for their workplace and more engaged in helping their colleagues to flourish. In the afternoon there will be a choice of workshops: one for working Christians the other for those who minister to working Christians.
Most people’s jobs involve a certain amount of skill and expertise, so it’s not unusual for them to receive training and ongoing work-skills development throughout their careers. But how much time do we give to developing and equipping people to be effective followers of Jesus in their workplaces?
This event is part of a series of workshops offering members of congregations to come and learn together. Led by members of the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity (LICC), we will be introduced to different aspects of making connections between people’s Monday to Saturday lives and our Sunday worship.
The day will include refreshments and lunch and will cost £10 per person to a maximum of £30. (If you bring more than three people we will offer you those places free).
