The Leading Worship Course is Happening Again This Autumn

Published: June 4, 2018

microphoneClergy and PCCs:  Is there someone, a person of prayer, who regularly attends worship in your parish who has the potential to be a worship leader? Do they have the respect of your church community, are able to work with others and with supervision?  Would you like to support and encourage them?
Or are you someone who is looking for where God might be next leading you in your discipleship and feel this might be for you?

Two to three times a year, the Department of Mission and Ministry runs a course specially designed to train lay people to lead worship and be valuable members of worship teams.  The course, as a series of evening training sessions and one Saturday morning workshop, prepares them to lead Services of the Word in all their variety and participate in worship planning.

The next course is scheduled to begin on 13 September, running through to 11 October at St Lawrence’s Church Hall, Barnwood.

If you would like to know more, please contact the course coordinator, Julie Fay, Worship and Spirituality Officer, via email:
