Gloucester Cathedral, in partnership with Gloucestershire Churches Together, will be hosting a hustings event for the European Elections. All parties and independent candidates standing in the south west region have been invited to participate. The hustings will be chaired by the Bishop of Tewkesbury.

Attendance is open to all. You are invited to gather from 7.00pm when there will be an opportunity to submit questions for discussion. Come and share in this opportunity to help decide who we wish to vote for in the European Elections.

Robert Springett, the Bishop of Tewkesbury and chair of Gloucestershire Churches Together said: “These elections come at a crucial time in our national life. I am very much looking forward to this event which I hope will enable us to build understanding across our divisions as well as inform the choices we must make at the ballot box”.

Andrew Braddock, Canon Missioner at Gloucester Cathedral said, “As a cathedral we are keen to provide a public space for people to come together in engaging with the different issues and perspectives that the European elections highlight. We look forward to hosting this event”.
