The Bishop of Gloucester, the Rt Revd Rachel Treweek, seeks to appoint an imaginative, collaborative priest, committed to reaching out with the good news of the gospel to all ages, to serve in this rural benefice of 4 parishes (6 churches) in the Severn Vale close to Tewkesbury.

Supported by an enthusiastic team of lay leaders including two Readers, a committed self-supporting Associate Priest, several retired clergy and a part time benefice administrator, we are looking for someone who will enjoy and immerse themselves in village life, supporting the worshipping communities in their mission throughout the week.

You will be an encouraging and enabling presence, able to manage boundaries and committed to inspiring and equipping the ministry of all God’s people. Building on our existing links with schools we hope you will help us to reach out more effectively to young families in our parishes.

For an informal discussion about the role contact the Archdeacon of Cheltenham, the Ven Phil Andrew on 01452 835594 or 07498 052045.
