Gloucestershire Police Service is in need of new Chaplains.
These are voluntary roles which minister to the members of the police service. Although chaplains are people of faith, they do not try to convert others to their faith, but act as people of integrity, standing up for what is right and just. They act as a listening ear and support our police when they need it most.
The core of chaplaincy is care – meaning wanting the best for someone. Meeting the person’s needs, rather than simply their expressed wants.
Vacancies currently are in
- Cheltenham – Hesters Way Police Station & Lansdown Road Police Station
- Bamfurlong – Force Response Unit
- Prism House, Waterwells – Investigations (CID, Child Protection, Domestic Abuse, Scenes of Crime)
- Compass House, Waterwells – Custody & Crime Management Investigation Standards
