Appointment of Chancellor
With the retirement of our long serving and distinguished Chancellor in the summer, Bishop Rachel is seeking to appoint a Chancellor who will offer wise council, and legal judgments in clear, supportive, and collaborative, ways.
Working closely with our Archdeacons, Diocesan Advisory Committee, Church Buildings Team and Registry, together we tackle the challenges of maintaining and developing our church buildings, (and over 90% of our 400 churches building are listed) for the wider mission of the Church, and as an integral part of our diocesan LIFE vision.
Attached you will find some further information about the role of the Chancellor.
