Today we pray for those who are in positions of authority, with responsibility for decision making at national and local level. We ask that God would give great wisdom, and deep commitment to all.

All things that are manifest in creation are connected. Some would have us see the world as consisting of separated ‘things’ It is often a fervent prayer at the start of each new day that my prayer includes those who are political leaders worldwide and those in positions of responsibility, that they are gifted the ability to consider the homeless, the hungry, the poor, the unemployed; without judgement; and with empathy, putting the service of others before themselves, their political stance, dogma, or belief system. Amen.
