Pathway Academic Administrator (Part time 17.5 hours per week)

Published: February 24, 2021

This is an exciting opportunity to join the small team delivering theological training and formation in the South West Midlands.

Cuddesdon Gloucester and Hereford (CGH) is part of the wider family of pathways delivered by Ripon College Cuddesdon.

We are based in Gloucester, and our students are drawn primarily from Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Shropshire. Most are training for ordained or licensed ministry in the Church of England, but many are independent students. Teaching is delivered on Wednesday and Thursday evenings in Ludlow and Gloucester, and for ministerial students on some residential weekends during the year, to a relatively small cohort of mostly mature part-time students.

We have a strong ethos as a supportive learning community with warm relationships between students and staff, and the holder of this post will be a key focal point of contact for community members. Working with the Pathway Director you will have responsibility for all aspects of the efficient and effective administration of the Pathway.

You will:
• Have significant prior administrative experience, preferably within the education and / or faith-based sectors, a track record of working in a public facing environment and will be highly proficient in the use of Microsoft office applications.

• Have an attention to detail and accuracy, along with a focus to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.

• Have a willingness to develop systems and procedures to improve student experience and productivity.

In return, we offer a competitive salary, flexible hours and the opportunity to join a small, enthusiastic and friendly team working from the Cathedral offices in Gloucester.

Applications should be submitted to using the application form available from our website – (CV’s will not be accepted).

The closing date for applications is Friday 19 March 2021 and interviews are provisionally scheduled for Wednesday 23 March 2021.
