Vicar – The Parish of St Andrew and St Bartholomew Churchdown

Published: November 26, 2021

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a large and lively worshipping community between Gloucester and Cheltenham.  St Andrew’s is an evangelical parish church with a range of worship styles, significant work with children and young people, and a desire to reach out into the community with a commitment to the vulnerable in providing welcome, hope and changed lives.  St Bartholomew’s, the historic parish church, is beloved and peaceful, and a popular setting for weddings.   The parish has a range of lay teams and volunteers, together with some paid staff.  The church building at St Andrew’s has been reordered, and there is a significant complex of spaces for events, meetings and hospitality.  This dynamic worshipping community is ready for the next chapter of its life to unfold.

Applications from both women and men are welcomed.
