Link Person and Support Person
The House of Bishops has six policy commitments which form the basis of the safeguarding policy statement. Two of these are:
- To care pastorally for victims/survivors of abuse and other affected persons.
- To care pastorally for those who are the subject of concerns or allegations of abuse and other affected persons.
To fulfil these commitments, the National Safeguarding team has created two volunteer roles. These are called link and support people and we are looking to recruit for these volunteer roles within our Diocese. Support and training will be offered. There will be an interview process.
