There is still plenty of time to get involved in the Living in Love and Faith engagement programme now that it has been extended to the end of April 2022. The course might make a good New Year focus, or a subject for a Lent group so here’s a reminder about the resources that are on offer nationally and locally to support your involvement.
There are links to the key national resources (the course, the book, films and podcasts) on the diocesan LLF webpage.
Facilitation training is available locally if you are thinking of running the course with new dates on offer this month (January 2022).
Don’t forget there is a team of facilitators available to support local leaders in running the course. Do get in touch as soon as you think you might welcome this as the earlier we know, the easier to get into facilitators’ diaries.
Alternative models to a parish or benefice based course are Deanery-wide courses or groups of parishes working together, so do let me know if you’d like some support in arranging one of these.
We are offering a Diocesan-wide course as well, for people who, for whatever reason, may not be able to join a local one.
Details of all of these resources are on the dedicated webpage and do contact me if you have any queries at all about any of this.
We ran this course over 5 evenings in July/August here in Hardwicke Elmore and Longney and I can thoroughly recommend it – you will learn so much about the issues, and grow in understanding of and respect for your fellow course members.
