SPORT AND FAITH LEADER – Thameshead and Cirencester

Play sports, talk life.

Fluff it. Duff it. Score it. Smash it. Whatever you do, just give it a go. That’s our motto for sport and for life. We’re for jumping right in and going on new adventures together, as a team.

We believe that being more active, like the Christian faith, can change people’s lives forever. And so we’re here to get everyone moving and show them that things are a lot more fun when we’re kicking, diving, riding, rolling, running and jumping around together.

Will you join us?

We are looking for a Sport and Faith Leader who will lead and develop our work in the wonderful Thameshead and Cirencester area.

Working alongside a committed team of volunteers, local church partners and our wider Sport and Faith Team you’ll run an exciting range of community and school-based sport and physical activity provision and work to establish a new worshipping community for children, young people and families here.

This fantastic opportunity will enable the postholder to both pioneer new activities and approaches, and further develop that which has already been effectively established. To find out more about Sportily, the location, the vision and what you’d be doing, please download the job pack.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about sport and physical activity and exploring faith with children, young people and their families. Are you someone who isn’t afraid to try new things, to think differently and help us to do that too as we undertake this journey together?

For the first-timers, the can’t catchers and the kick it outers.
For the slam dunkers, the back of the netters and the hole in oners.
We bring the energy that gets you moving.

Deadline: Noon 30 June 2022
