Reader Banner

We are pleased to confirm that the 2022 Annual Readers’ Day, AGM and Licensing Service will happen on Saturday 24 September 2022.

The majority of the Readers’ Day will happen in the Ivor Gurney Hall,  Kings School. This room adjoins the Cathedral in the cloisters. Exact timings will be confirmed nearer the time, but we expect the day to start at 10.15am as we gather together, then with the AGM followed by the rest of the Readers’ Day.

The Licensing service will take place in Gloucester Cathedral from 3.15pm.

We are delighted to announce that Nick Shepherd will be joining us for the day. Nick is Senior Vision and Strategy consultant for the Church of England. This role is a senior post in the National Church to inspire the whole people of God to play their part in a renewed church, active in God’s mission across all sectors of our society and in all communities. Nick is a regular speaker at conferences and events on discipleship, leadership and mission, as well as in areas of academic practical theology. Nick is a licensed lay minister (Reader) in the Church of England.

If you are a Reader and would like to attend this event please complete this booking form.
