Being a Christian in your school community
March 4, 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Led by Barry Voyce with Jo Wetherall and others
Schools are central to our communities, full of diverse people, all with a vested interest in the success of the community and impact on the wider world. Whether you are a pupil, parent, teacher, governor, or associated with a school, living a Christ-centred life every day within and around the community of the school brings God’s love, hope and blessing into the life of that community.
Can we really be openly distinct Christians in primary and secondary schools today? Questions answered, situations explored, dilemmas discussed – this is an interactive workshop which will be shaped by your situations and experiences. One of two workshops this will aim mostly on Primary Schools but will be applicable to all. The second workshop aiming at Secondary Schools and young people will be in the autumn.
