Churches: Comfortable Heating, Net Zero and Faculty Jurisdiction Rules – Free workshop

Wednesday February 1, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm

If you want to achieve a comfortable heating system in your church, get to know more about the Net Zero targets of the Church of England, and how the new faculty rules introduced in July 2022 make authorising relevant works easier for churches, then this session will provide you with the information you need. The Net Zero carbon target and faculty rules require those seeking to replace gas and oil boilers like for like to look at all alternative options, so if you have a gas or oil boiler that is getting to the end of its life the information in this session will be important for you.

The session is led by Matt Fulford who is the energy and net zero carbon DAC Member in the Diocese and has extensive experience of advising over 500 churches across the UK. He advises the CofE nationally, as well as advising some of the amenity societies on sustainability projects. He created the first net zero carbon church of the modern era 12 years ago and has delivered a number of webinars and reports for the CofE net zero programme.

The workshop will start at 6 pm at St Mary de Crypt Church in Gloucester. Coffee will be served from 5.45 pm.

Places are limited. To book, please contact Cathy McIntyre, Care of Churches & DAC Team Administrator ku.gr1680172861o.coi1680172861dsolg1680172861@eryt1680172861nIcMC1680172861
