FestivAll – Celebrating inclusive community
May 17, 4:00 pm - 7:30 pmFree
The Diocese of Gloucester, Barnwood Trust, Gloucestershire African Community Foundation and Gloucester Cathedral have come together to organise FestivALL, a celebration of inclusive community across the county and beyond.
FestivALL is about relationship and aims to both nurture and celebrate community. FestivALL aims to bring people together across the county and beyond to celebrate inclusive community over a month long period, from May 17-June 17th. It will be an opportunity for people to learn about the community in which they live and work, build relationships and strengthen networks.
We are inviting organisations to come together and be part of this Festival by either holding a local community event, or being involved in the two day launch at Gloucester Cathedral. Find out more at www.festivall.org
Launch of FestivALL
Thursday 17 May 2018 at 4pm-7.30pm in Gloucester Cathedral
The launch of FestivALL is a public event, is free and is open to everyone. The Bishop of Gloucester, the Right Revd Rachel Treweek will officially open the FestivALL and then in the grounds of the Cathedral there will be live music, dancing, face-painting and activities for children, which include sports, circus skills, arts and crafts and much more.
People are also invited to join in with a community picnic. Bring along some picnic food (sandwiches, crisps, fruit, cakes, you get the idea!) which you can enjoy and share with others in a special food tent in the Cathedral grounds. Come and join the fun!
