GCEJN: Christian responses to the crisis of single use plastics

September 18, 12:15 pm - 1:30 pm

Speaker: Dr Martin Hodson, Operations Director for the John Rae Initiative: https://www.jri.org.uk/introduction/people/dr-martin-hodson/

Dr Martin Hodson, a scientist, lecturer and Operations Director for the John Rae Initiative, has kindly agreed to speak about the crisis of plastics contamination followed by Q&A and open discussion.

There will be some time at the end for anyone working towards an EcoChurch Award (A Rocha) for sharing ideas and mutual support. Has your church registered yet? Please click here for a map of local Eco Churches: http://ecochurch.arocha.org.uk/eco-church-locations/

Getting there: Gloucester has good options for using public transport. Cycle hoops have recently been installed in the newly created public green space in front of the cathedral. There are several car parks within a five-minute walk. Please bring your own sandwiches and there are facilities for making tea/coffee.

These meetings are free of charge thanks to support by the Diocese of Gloucester. Feel free to bring a friend along. It would be good to know in advance but not essential.
