 Julian Jones on ‘How can we enable environment & climate justice ? Julian Jones is a Distinguished Fellow at Schumacher Institute, Julian volunteers for Water21, a non profit Agenda 21 organisation. In 1984 he resigned as UK sales director for Bauer (water & waste engineering) to address public health issues linked with sewage contaminated aerosols spraying from weirs during spates. He developed sustainable drainage, or ‘SUDS’, (sewage & rainwater soft engineering) to resolve this, demonstrating this on BBCTV in 1991; first UK Catchment Based Approach (CaBA) in 1993 for Stroud District Council and the first UK Defra Pilot proposal for Severn Trent Water to eliminate sewer overflows in 2004. http://www.water21.org.uk/
