Home for Good Summit
Saturday May 7, 10:00 am to 4:30 pm
Home for Good invites you to join them for their seventh annual Summit, gathering Christians who are passionate about caring for vulnerable children for a day of encouragement and equipping.
The theme for the Summit this year is TOGETHER! Drawing inspiration from 1 Corinthians 12, we will stand together as one body with many parts, taking the time to honour and uphold those who can sometimes be overlooked.
This event will gather as foster carers, adoptive parents, supported lodgings hosts and others who love and raise care-experienced children. You’ll join as those exploring whether we could welcome a child or young person into our family in the future. You’ll gather as grandparents, friends and extended family who make up a vital support network. You’ll join as church leaders, children’s and youth workers – everyone who is part of the Church family. If you are passionate about vulnerable children experiencing the welcome, love and acceptance they deserve, then the Summit is for you!
The day will include a great mix of teaching, worship and prayer for adults and a full programme of activities for children ages 3-18, as well as a creche area for children under three, where parents and carers can supervise their children and still engage with the wider programme. Tickets for adults are £28, or £15 if you’re joining online. They are thrilled to once again be able to offer free places for children and young people.
