How church buildings can host community owned business: a conversation with Grindleford Community Shop group in Derbyshire
September 28, 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm
Join national charity Plunkett Foundation in conversation with the group that runs a community owned shop in Grindleford, Derbyshire. We’ll be hearing how the community arrived at a solution to their lack of a shop by locating their own inside the local church!
Plunkett is funded by AllChurches Trust to deliver support to any communities wanting to set up collectively, community owned businesses inside active church buildings and grounds. Whether that’s a shop, an indoor or outdoor cafe, a weekly farmer’s or craft market or a mental health retreat, hear about what help is available and how the residents in Grindleford did it!
