Making the most of Funeral Ministry

January 21, 9:30 am - 3:30 pm

9.30am – 3.30pm (Eucharist 9.30am in the Thomas Chapel)

You may have come across the new national resources for baptisms, weddings and funerals to help churches make these focused for mission. If you haven’t yet woven these into your ministry, join us.

Josie Goodwin, who is a vicar in this diocese, will present the new material on funerals and help you think about how to apply it in your context. Also presenting is Richard Reakes, a vicar and previously a funeral director. Richard will lead a ‘troubleshooting’ session on the practicalities of funerals and working with funeral directors.

This is of interest to curates clergy and lay teams involved with baptisms.

This event costs £10 and includes lunch (free for curates).
