The Michael Perham University and Cathedral Lecture

Faith in a time of climate change

on 23 May at 7.00pm in the University Chapel, Francis Close Hall Cheltenham GL50 4AZ

What does the climate crisis reveal to us about being human?

How should we rethink our faith in the face of global collapse?

This year’s lecture will be given by Hannah Malcolm. Hannah was the winner of the 2019 Church Times ‘Theology Slam’, and has since edited Words for a Dying World: Stories of Grief and Courage from the Global Church. She regularly speaks and writes about climate justice and environmental theology and is a contributor to Radio 4’s Thought for the Day. She is currently training for ministry in the Church of England and writing a PhD on a theology of climate and ecological grief.

The lecture is free and all are welcome. Please book via Eventbrite to help us estimate numbers:
