Resources

Any group in leadership and authorised ministry needs to learn how to function effectively with one another. Resources are provided to stimulate team development in shared ministry and leadership. The diocese offers six parish-based modules, three residentials and three 'one-day' events. Members are encouraged to attend all the Day and Residential events with the expectation of returning to feel exhilarated and more confident.

The resources for Local Ministry parishes are by and large offered to the Local Ministry team. The intention is for the team to then 'cascade' their learning and insights more widely into the parish.  

All the resources, modules days and residentials, are designed to help people to:

Grow in faith and awareness God in their lives and the life of their church and community.
Learn to work together and get a feel for sharing in ministry.
To really begin to understand the nature of their vocation to be Christ like and to begin to understand what the vocation of all the baptised might mean for their local church."
